(More customer reviews)Don't get me wrong: I like this bow. I'm amateur and this bow was a great one to get started with. However, I feel like the deflex design takes a little out of arrow speed and those who wish to put a bow to some practical use would be better off with something laminated with fiberglass, or a recurve but consideration of the huge price of of such a bow relative to this one, makes this bow a very good choice.
I've had this bow for a couple years of moderate use and the lamination has held up beautifully, without any indication that it has degraded at all since I bought it.
Certainly this bow doesn't match up in looks to a nice bow made by Bear or Martin, but when they cost more than 2 times as much, there are few reasons not to give this simple, but well-made bow a try.
